Ryan was born with his twin sister Kaley on June 1st 1990 in Arlington, Texas. Moving from Arlington, Texas to Chattanooga in 2003, Ryan attended Boyd-Buchanan School with his sister to begin middle school. During his time at Boyd, he played baseball, basketball, football, and soccer and ran cross-country. While still in middle school, Ryan’s mom showed him the importance of being plugged into a youth group and being around students who were growing in their relationship with Christ on a daily basis. Once Ryan got plugged in to a youth group, he enjoyed everything youth group had to offer him, which began the process of
him feeling drawn to ministry.

 

A couple of years after college, God opened an opportunity to serve at his home church, Stuart Heights Baptist, as the Associate Youth Pastor. After serving there from 2016-2018 and getting married to his wife Brittney, the Lord opened an opportunity to serve at Rechoboth Baptist. After much prayer, Ryan and his family accepted the position and have loved every minute of it. Ryan’s prayer for any family that becomes a part of the youth is that they see the youth ministry as a partnership to walk alongside them daily, be present and available any time they need us, and to help them grow in Christ on a daily basis.
